Investiture Ceremony 2017

On the fine morning of 15th August 2017, deserving young talents of the School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School from the front with their commitment, confidence and competence.
The school held the Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm. It was a solemn occasion where the young students were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. To inculcate the leadership qualities in students and to give them a feel of leaders and a sense of responsibility the new “STUDENT COUNCIL” is formed every year.
The event began at 10.30 am. The dignitaries were escorted to the stage by the cadets from Bharat Scouts and Guides. The function was presided over by the Principal Mr Sanjeev Bhardwaj. In his speech he encouraged the students to be committed to important issues and to always remember that leadership comes with integrity.
Shri Harinder Kataria (Chairman, School ) & Mrs. Radha Kataria ( Director, School ) were the Chief Guests of the ceremony. Mr & Mrs. Aakash Kataria ( Vice- Chairman , School ) were the guests of honour. Mr. Avneesh Kataria & Mrs. Amrit (Principal, Junior Branch )were the special guests of the ceremony. Mrs. Nidhi Nandra, (Sr. Co-ordinator) & Mrs. Seema (Pr. Wing Co-ordinator) administered the oath to the new Student Council. This was followed by the house captains and house prefects taking oath of office. The Chief Guests pinned the badge to the Prefects and the Principal handed over the flag to them.
In his address, the Chief Guest appreciated the efforts by the school for providing opportunities to the students. He also congratulated the newly appointed Prefects. The newly inducted head boy Satyam & Head Girl Henna proposed the Vote of thanks. They thanked the Chief Guest for his encouraging words and the outgoing batch for their efforts.
